Conservation Programs
This section details some of the Programs the Forest Bird Society will develop as part of its Non-Profit Activities to protect, preserve and restore our forests and birds that inhabit them throughout the Americas.
Preserving our natural ecosystems for the future generations will probably be one of the most daunting tasks we have ever embarked; but it is clear that we must try, because we cannot just sit as bystanders at a car crash and accept that our future means the impoverishment of our own world and the natural wonders it contains.
The Forest Bird Society will embark in several programs that involve conservation in various ways; from environmental education, forest preservation, land impact mitigation, reforestation and carbon sequestration projects; land, plants and birds surveys, and captive breeding projects for endangered species.
